After visiting us a few times you might wish to join the club and become a member of our chess family – we hope you do! Becoming a member entitles you to a wide range of benefits:
- Regular Tuesday social nights for casual games and special events
- Free entry to club competitions
- Free entry to play in our teams across a range of competitions at local and national level
- Access to the club’s extensive library of chess books – for some of us chess obsessives, this alone saves us hundreds of pounds a year!
- Junior members can register for our free weekly junior training which is led by an experienced master player

The club year runs from August 1st -July 31st. A proportional reduction in fees is available to anyone joining for the first time after 1st Feb. Please contact the Treasurer for details.
